Visiting a new church can oftentimes be overwhelming. We want your first visit to Calvary be a refreshing and joyful experience. Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.
When Are Your Services?
Our services are:
Sunday school at 10 am
Sunday morning service at 11 am
Sunday evening service at 6 pm
Wednesday evening service at 6:30pm
Each service is generally an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes long
What About My Kids?
We have a dynamic children's ministry at Calvary Baptist Church! We have a Sunday school class for every age group from infant to teen. During the morning service we have a children's church for K4-4th grade. Everyone starts the service in the auditorium, then during fellowship time near the end of the song service the children are dismissed to children's church. If you would rather keep your child with you, that's perfectly fine!
We also have a Wednesday night kids program.
Is There Something For My Teenager?
We are currently building our teen ministry and have a weekly Sunday school class and a weekly Wednesday night class. We also have regular activities including our bimonthly TACH (Teens at Church) Meetings. We also host the End of School Teen Rally!
What Should I Wear?
We do not have a dress code at Calvary Baptist Church. Our Sunday ministry leaders dress in "traditional Sunday dress" but most do not. We want you to feel comfortable and welcome on your visit with us.
Am I Expected To Participate In The Offering?
Absolutely not! Our weekly offering is an expression of worship and thankfulness to the Lord for the members of Calvary Baptist Church. We want this service to be a gift to you!
What Does Your Church Believe
